Snowmobiling in Park City, Utah

Happy Monday (or Tuesday depending on where you are in the world)! Ty and I had a wonderful weekend in Vancouver and have some great news to report. We sold our car! It was quite a bittersweet moment for us. On one hand, we were incredibly relieved to sell it, but on the other hand, we’d grown incredibly attached to our car (you can read more about that here) so we were really sad to say goodbye. But what’s done is done and it feels good to know we are wrapping things up here in North America before we head home in a little under 3 weeks!
Today I want to share with you an awesome adventure we had a few weeks ago. While in Park City, Utah, we finally ticked snowmobiling off our Must-Do List! It was something we had wanted to do for a while, simply because it sounded about as much fun as you could possibly have on a snow-covered mountainside! While it was a relatively tame experience for Tyrone, being the dirt bike (motorbike) rider that he is, it was just the right amount of crazy for me and I highly recommend it! Here are some pictures of our time racing around the mountainside on our snowmobiles together:
Safety first! (I’m kind of digging this look on us – it’s not too matchy-matchy and only makes the size of our heads look the tiniest bit ridiculous).
This is my “why yes, yes I do feel completely in control of this 500 pound machine, I’m not scared one little bit” face. #nailedit
Tyrone (aka the adrenaline junkie) was a natural, no surprises there, and impossible to keep up with, no matter how hard I tried!
After racing up the side of the mountain, we stopped on the summit and took in the incredible 180 degree views. Spectacular! Our guide was so kind to snap these pictures of us!…
…and then Ty was so kind to snap these pictures of me. Obviously I was a little preoccupied with the helmet hair situation going on!

And then we raced around the mountainside some more!

It was definitely one of the more pricey experiences we’ve had since travelling, but it was so worth it, especially as we both agree it was probably a once in a lifetime experience for us! For anyone interested in snowmobiling in the future, I highly recommend giving it a go – even if you are a bit of a scaredy cat! It was exhilarating, the views were incredible and it felt like a really unique and fun way to experience something special during the wintertime. Not a bad way to spend a day in the snow at all, if you ask me!
Have you ever been snowmobiling?
As always, thanks so much for reading and have a great week! Xo
