A Weekend at Noosa, Queensland

After work on Saturday, Ty and I started our journey to Noosa, on Queensland’s coast. Bags were packed, lunch was collected, coffees were  sipped and we made it to Noosa a little before 3pm.

One of my really good friends is getting married next weekend, so this weekend was all about her hens party! It was a good one – I met her other lovely girl friends, we chatted, drank champagne with strawberries, played fun party games and ate delicious food. Now that all the fun of this wekend is over, I’m counting down the days until my Miss Vicky becomes a Mrs next Saturday!

Sunday was spent the way all Sundays should be, in my opinion, with a little sleep in, a delicious big breakfast and a stroll around the beach, with the most perfect weather. I was so happy that it was warm and took the opportunity to wear a my white denim cutoffs and nautical striped top (my “sailor” top as Ty calls it). Feeling the cold as much as I do, the opportunity to wear a beachy outfit was not one to be missed!

Noosa is such a beautiful beachside town and it had been over a year since our last visit, so we took our time strolling the pathways and enjoying the gorgeous, sunny weather.

After, we headed off into the Sunshine Coast hinterland to slowly make our way home. We stopped in at Eumundi, a terribly quaint, hinterland village, before making our way to Woodford to visit Ty’s sister. After a bit of lunch and a little rest, we headed the rest of the way home.

The downside of a weekend away? There is always so much washing to do once you get home! We tidied up and washed load after load, but let’s not dwell on those things. It was the perfect weekend away with my favourite boy!

How did you all spend the weekend? Do you enjoy beachy weekends?

Thanks so much for reading! XO
