This week we left Quebec City and headed south to the Canada/US border. After a slight delay due to paperwork to import our SUV, our passports were stamped and we crossed the border into the USA! We drove south through Vermont and New Hampshire until we entered Massachusetts. Boston was to be our destination.
The traveling trio are officially on American soil!
Boston possesses the coolest vibe and swagger. Everything is just so effortlessly cool there – the peoole and the neighbourhoods, the cafes and the delicious coffee! Its just the coolest place!

I have so many stories and photographs to share from our amazing time in Boston. I could go on and on about how much we loved it but I thought I’d share the story and pictures from the wonderful afternoon we spent in Cambridge, wandering around the iconic Ivy League university and oldest institution of higher learning in all of the US: Harvard University.
Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts
Bright and early, we caught the subway out to Cambridge. Our intention was to explore the whole campus of Harvard University but the campus was so incredibly immense, we only ended up seeing a small portion of it.
The gorgeous Harvard University campus
We had so much fun looking around the beautiful campus, visiting the library, the dorm buildings, and I found myself imagining attending school there (I was trying to channel a brunette version of Elle Woods from Legally Blonde!), although I’m not in any rush to go back to university any time soon!

“I’m going to Harvard Law School!” Channelling Elle Woods!
I think the snow only adds to the beauty of the campus. What do you think? Oh, and I found this little tiny squirrel contemplating a very big climb! How cute!

Now, with our visit to Boston over, we have landed in New York City! I fell in love with NYC just over a year ago when I visited with my family. However it was a super short trip so I feel really fortunate to get the chance to see it all again, and in particular, see and do the things we either had to rush or didn’t have time to see last time! Is there anywhere in the world you wish you could visit again to have a second chance at? Also, I’m so excited to be heading back to the big apple with many sister and this time with Ty!
From NYC, with love do
P.S. I hope all my fellow Aussies had an awesome Australia Day! In case you missed it on Facebook, this was Ty’s hommage to Australia Day, celebrated a million miles away from home! Xo

sort-of-not-really Australian beer he could find!)
